This is the first applet that I  created.  It looked pretty good with Internet Explorer-3 and Netscape Navigator-3.   I don't know about the browser your using but, Internet Explorer-5 and 6 show an irritating white flash during the execution of this applet.  I haven't figured this problem out.  I thought about recompiling the program with the latest Java Platform.
